Fees
A referral is not required to see me.You’re welcome to reach out and book directly, whether you’re paying privately or using one of the funding options below.
Funding options
Private pay - no referral, session limits, or funding paperwork required.
Medicare rebate - available with a valid GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP). If you'd like to use this option, ask your GP to email us your documents before your first session.
NDIS - plan-managed and self-managed participants are accepted. See NDIS details below.
Private health insurance - may provide a rebate depending on your level of cover. Check directly with your fund.
DVA (Gold or White Card) - billed directly, with no out-of-pocket cost for eligible services.
Fees are the same across in-person and telehealth. Payment for privately billed and Medicare sessions is automatically processed at the time of your appointment via the card on file.

Cancellation policy
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% fee; missed appointments incur the full session fee. (NDIS clients: 24 hours' notice applies - see below.)

Session Fees
The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi) recommends $340 per 50 minute session. Kapwa Psychology charges below this rate to keep care accessible, and fees are reviewed annually.

Out of pocket $230.95 with Medicare rebateExtended sessions are the preferred format for EMDR and align with best practice. The additional time allows for fuller preparation, processing and integration within a single appointment. They may also suit those who find it difficult to attend frequently.
The EMDR Intensive Program is available to suitable clients: structured blocks of extended sessions across a 1-2 week period. Intensives are priced as a package, billed privately (Medicare rebates don't apply), and discussed at your initial consultation.

A service agreement is arranged as part of the booking process, with pricing and invoices issued in line with NDIS requirements. NDIS services may include additional costs for:
